The traditional Puimala (threshing house) at Backas is unique as a function hall in the Helsinki region. The hall with an amazingly high
ceiling caters for up to 800 people
and it can be booked with modern equipment. It really gives you a chance to use your imagination in organising the event.

Puimala is, indeed, a great venue for, for example, a summery country feast, dancing, harvest festivals, traditional weddings and concerts. The idyllic courtyard gives you the chance to extend the party outdoors. The summer theatre has already become a tradition at Backas Puimala.

The tables are full of food and drinks that suit your event. You can choose a warm or a cold buffet service or a smorgasbord - which ever suits your event best.
